Privacy Policy

LineSpotting AB (“we”) built the Emerald Ascent app for iOS and Android. This policy explains how the app handles information. In short: Emerald Ascent does not collect your personal data.

Information we collect

None. Emerald Ascent has no account system, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, photos, contacts, or any personal information to use the app. We do not operate a backend server that receives your practice data.

Data stored on your device only

To provide the practice experience, the app may store the following only on your device (for example via local app storage):

• Practice history (which stages you completed, durations, timestamps)
• Optional reflection notes you type in the journal
• Progress such as XP, level, streaks, achievements, favorites, and daily quest progress
• Settings you choose (haptics on/off, practice reminder time)

This information is not transmitted to LineSpotting AB or to any third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud service operated by us. It is removed when you use “Reset all progress” in Settings or when you uninstall the app.

Sharing you initiate

If you use the system Share sheet to share progress, a session summary, or a journal note, the content you choose to share leaves the device only through the share target you select (for example Messages or email). We do not receive a copy of that content.

Analytics & tracking

Emerald Ascent contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not build a profile of you.

Third parties (app stores)

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may collect certain information as described in their own privacy policies (for example aggregate install statistics). We do not receive personal practice content from the stores beyond what they provide as standard, anonymized developer metrics.

Children

Emerald Ascent is a general-audience wellness app. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can clear all on-device progress and notes at any time via Settings → Reset all progress. You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time; local data is then removed by the operating system.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
